Last Breath is a video game developed by a team of six members as a Master degree in video games by Universitat Pompeu Fabra. We've been working for ten months to finish 15 minutes of gameplay.
The main goal of the Master is to develop a video game through all its fases, from the scratch idea, gameplay design, mechanics, art direction, etc... The programmers have developed an own Engine based on DirectX 11 and C++ from the scratch.
As an artist my main objective was to reach a direct relation and dialog with Samuel Jarque as a Graphic programmer to achieve our best result within shaders, effects, art direction and performance.
For this project we decided (the artist) to maintain an art direction taking as a reference video games such Dishonored and Bioshock, or maybe that was our intention. I can assure you that we've tried our best.
